unTahto

Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 31, 2026

unTahto is a local-first Android app that helps you turn goals into concrete commitments, schedule check-ins, and keep a simple journal trail.

What We Collect

unTahto does not collect personal data on our servers.

The app does not use accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, subscriptions, backend sync, AI services, or third-party data services in this release.

Data Stored On Your Device

unTahto can store the information you enter in the app, including goals, check-ins, journal entries, settings, reminder preferences, and export history.

This information stays on your device. We do not receive it unless you choose to send it to us yourself, for example by emailing support.

Notifications

unTahto can send local reminders if you allow notifications.

You can deny notification permission and continue using the app. You can also change notification permission later in Android settings.

Export And Sharing

If you create an export file, that file is created on your device. If you share it through Android's share sheet, you choose where it goes. The receiving app or service has its own privacy practices.

Backup

unTahto is designed as a local-first app. Built-in Android backup behavior may depend on your device and Google account settings, but unTahto does not operate its own cloud backup or sync service in this release.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete local app data using the reset option in unTahto or by removing the app from your device.

Because unTahto does not create an online account or store your app data on our servers, there is no server-side account data to delete.

Children

unTahto is not made specifically for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

Changes

We may update this policy if unTahto changes how it handles data. The latest version will be posted at https://untahto.app/privacy.
